Who is JUMP!

Our fitness, health and eventually our wellness journey started in 2016, when we grew tired of yo-yo weightsfad dietshorrible food & bad moods.

When we started on this journey, we tried to out-train our bad diets, running like crazy but eating like pigs. Until one day, when the lights came on, and we realised that this is not the way we wanted to live. We needed change, and we needed a sustainable lifestyle.

Throughout this journey, we learned that it's not just about health & fitness, but rather about wellness. Physical Wellness forms only one part of the eight dimensions of wellness. Since we have changed the way we eat, the way we train and the way we live, we were able to keep to a healthy weight and be happier people all around.

For the last two years, we were able to keep our weight within 2 kilograms up and down without really trying. We eat like kings; we have the energy to train like professionals and is just loving life. 

 

We have created this website & company to be able to share our journey and what we have learnt with anyone interested in changing their lives. We don't promise some magic bullet; we have spend thousands of hours, scouring through hundreds of studies to see what works and what does not. We will share what works for us, and what did not work for us.

Our core philosophies to wellness are:

  • Weight-loss happens in the kitchen and you exercise for your health and well being.
  • All calories are not equal.
  • Calorie counting is outdated, we eat until we are full.
  • Being skinny does not mean you are healthy.
  • Your brain is part of your health and is directly influenced by the food you eat and connected to your physical health.
  • Overall wellness is so much more than the correct number on the scale.

It took us a long time to get to where we are today, but that is only because we had a lot of trial & error along the way. If we knew what we know now, we would have been a lot further along this journey. We hope to be able to help you get there sooner.
